Plumber in Las Vegas
Fast, licensed plumbing in Las Vegas — about 15 minutes from our Las Vegas shop. Drains, water heaters, leaks, repipes and 24/7 emergencies.
Mike's Drain and Plumbing covers the whole city of Las Vegas, from the old downtown core to the newer builds pushing west toward Summerlin. It's a big, mixed map, and we work all of it — about 15 minutes from our central shop on S Eastern Ave to most neighborhoods.
One call gets you a licensed local plumber for anything from a clogged kitchen line to a collapsed sewer, day or night, with the written price up front.

Las Vegas housing spans seventy years, and the plumbing tells the story. Downtown and the older near-Strip neighborhoods have 1950s and 1960s bungalows with original cast-iron sewer lines — now rusting, scaling and cracking, and prime targets for root intrusion. The mid-century and 1980s homes bring galvanized supply and early copper. The 2000s builds out west are newer but hardly immune.
What ties every era together is the water. The Las Vegas Valley Water District delivers around 16 grains per gallon citywide, so scale clogs pipes, drops pressure and shortens water heater life no matter which decade your house was built in. North Las Vegas and Henderson run their own utilities, but the City of Las Vegas sits squarely in Valley Water District territory.
In a single week we might snake a cast-iron sewer downtown near Charleston Boulevard, repipe a galvanized home off Sahara Avenue and swap a scaled-up water heater in a west-side subdivision near the 215. A recent downtown call was a kitchen sink that 'kept backing up no matter what' — the real problem was a root-choked cast-iron main under the yard, which we cleared and camera-inspected to plan a proper repair.
Working the whole city means we recognize each era's failure points fast, so you're not paying us to figure out what a house this age tends to do — we already know.
Core services we bring anywhere in Las Vegas:
Slow or clogged drains cleared the right way — cabling or hydro jetting, plus camera diagnosis so it stays clear.
Learn moreFrom root intrusion to collapsed clay pipe, we diagnose your sewer with a camera and fix it — trenchless where possible.
Learn moreNo hot water? We repair and replace tank and tankless heaters, and fight the hard-water sediment that kills them early.
Learn moreRecurring pinhole leaks or old poly/galvanized pipe? A clean, permitted PEX repipe ends the patch-after-patch cycle for good.
Learn moreSpiking water bill or a warm spot on the floor? We locate hidden leaks precisely — no guesswork, no needless demolition.
Learn morePlumbing emergency at any hour? A real person answers 24/7 and we dispatch fast from our Silverado Ranch base — damage stopped first, price up front.
Learn moreThe city spans seventy years of building, and each era fails in its own way. Recognizing which one you own is half the diagnosis — and we work all of them in a single week.
Working the whole city every week means we walk in recognizing the failure points of your home's era instead of billing you to discover them. A root-choked cast-iron main downtown, a galvanized pressure problem off Sahara, a scaled heater out west — we've seen each a hundred times. That pattern-recognition is why our diagnosis is fast and our recommendation is honest: we're telling you what these houses actually do, not guessing.
Yes — from downtown and the older near-Strip neighborhoods out to the newer west-side communities. We cover the whole city with drain cleaning, repairs and 24/7 emergency service. We're on S Eastern Ave, about 15 minutes from most of it. Call (614) 830-0578.
Many still have original cast-iron sewer lines that rust, scale and crack after decades, which invites tree roots. We clear and camera-inspect the line, then offer honest sewer line repair options — trenchless where it fits.
It is. At roughly 16 grains per gallon citywide, Las Vegas water is very hard, and it scales pipes and kills water heaters early. Read how hard Las Vegas water is for the full picture.
All of it. The City of Las Vegas sits in Valley Water District territory, while North Las Vegas and Henderson run their own utilities — but we work the whole valley regardless of which meter is on the house. From our central S Eastern Ave shop, most of it is a short run. Call (614) 830-0578.
